Pebble Creek was flooded as expected, but we were getting through the round just fine until the lightning hit. By then the additional 1 hour delay, along with more rain, didn't make playing feasible... especially with The Open on TV. It's only our 3rd rain-out in history, so thanks for everyone being patient and hanging out. The bar was quite enjoyable.
New Tampa courses are going to be off-limits from here on out during the summer seasons. It just doesn't make sense to play ANYWHERE up there when we are surrounded by better options that drain. Westchase area is in the same boat during the rainy months.
Next week will be a Major in Orlando (Reunion). Tee time is 10:20am, and fee is $70 after tax. Again... we are under contract, so if you bail you will probably be liable for the fee.
The time for backing out has long past. And the time for backing out of The Rapture on August 18th, 19th and 20th (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) has DEFINITELY past. Everyone committed to that back in March, over 4 months ago, and houses have been booked.
The plan is to play our final week (Jamaican Open) on Sunday, August 6th at a course TBD. Go fill out your availability on the registration form for the 6th and 13th. Based on the standings after next week, we will do our best to accommodate anyone still in the running for the DPT Cup.

Rapture draft will still be held at Ale House after next week. The captains better be ready to draft AND order their players for ALL three rounds. We've done this before so there should be plenty of people there to help.
